4th Quarterly Forum on Chinese Economy
As the world navigates through significant transformations unseen in a century, the global economy, including China—the world’s second-largest economy—has not rebounded as robustly post-COVID-19 as anticipated in 2023. As a pivotal engine driving global economic growth, the trajectory of China’s economic recovery and expansion is of monumental significance and holds substantial influence over global economic dynamics and markets.
隨著世界經歷百年未有之大變局，包括中國在內的全球經濟在新冠疫情後並未如2023年預期那樣迅速反彈。作為推動全球經濟增長的關鍵力量，中國這個世界第二大經濟體的經濟復甦和增長軌跡具有重大意義，對全球經濟動態和市場產生深遠影響。
In 2024, despite achieving notable successes in various sectors, China’s economy faces considerable pressures in areas such as economics, finance, and foreign trade. Recently, corporate international expansions and a series of monetary and fiscal policies have become focal points within economic and financial circles. To delve deeper into these issues, the Institute for China Economic Research (ICE) at the Faculty of Business and Economics, The University of Hong Kong, in collaboration with the Executive Education of HKU Business School, is proud to host the Fourth HKU China Economic Quarterly Forum. Scheduled for October 18, 2024, at The University of Hong Kong, this forum is themed “Corporate Internationalization and the Impact of Recent Monetary and Fiscal Policies in China.”
2024年，儘管在多個領域取得顯著成效，中國經濟在經濟、金融、對外貿易等方面仍面臨不小的壓力。近期，企業「走出去」以及一系列貨幣財政政策成為經濟金融領域的熱點話題。為深入探討這些問題，香港大學經管學院中國經濟研究所（ICE）聯合香港大學經管學院高層管理教育，將於2024年10月18日在香港大學舉行第四屆「香港大學中國經濟季度論壇」。本次論壇的主題為「企業出海與中國近期貨幣、財政政策的影響」。
This forum aims to leverage the research strengths of the HKU Business School to provide a platform for distinguished economists, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to exchange ideas and explore partnerships. It seeks to share insightful analyses on Chinese economic policies and growth, contributing to sustainable economic development in Hong Kong, China, and globally.
論壇旨在借助香港大學經管學院的研究實力，為傑出的經濟學家、企業家、政策制定者提供一個思想交流和探索合作的平台，分享對中國經濟政策和增長的深刻見解，為香港、中國乃至世界的可持續經濟增長作出貢獻。
